This historical building offered a wonderful, romantic vibe. The staff greeted me with really good friendliness. The room offered everything I needed for a short stay and a comfy bed ensured restful nights. The location was IDEAL for exploring the town's attractions.
The window was quite heavy. It needed something to keep it open. This made it hard to get fresh air into the room.

slow basin draindirty carpets
I am REALLY unhappy about several things. The room lacked basic necessities. There was no wardrobe for clothing. The painting was amateurish, suited more for a cellar, not a hotel room. The basin drain in the bathroom was SLOW. The corridors looked old and dirty with old, VERY dirty carpets. Staff indifference added to my frustration. It's obvious this place needs serious work.
